Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad to Hold Community Car Seat Check

Henrico, VA (March 22, 2023) – The Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad (LVRS) is pleased to announce that it will be holding a Community Car Seat Check event on April 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The event will take place at 2007 Timberlake Ave, Henrico, Virginia, 23228.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to provide child safety seat checks, ensuring that parents and caregivers have the knowledge and skills necessary to properly install their child’s safety seat. Did you know that 4 out of 5 car seats are installed incorrectly? LVRS is committed to ensuring the safety of children in our community by providing education and hands-on assistance to parents and caregivers.

This event is open to the public, and attendees must bring a car seat with them. The process typically takes about 30 minutes. In addition to the safety seat checks, LVRS members will be available to provide ambulance tours, answer questions about becoming a member, and will be taking donations.

Andy Inge, the Squad’s President, expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “This event is not only a great way to meet our community members and provide a service for them, but it also allows us to know that we have done what we can do to ensure that the children in the community are safe when they travel.”

LVRS is dedicated to serving the community by providing emergency medical services and educating residents about safety and prevention. We hope to see you at our Community Car Seat Check on April 16th!
